The Manic Mechanic has the client's best interests at heart. Mike strongly empowers clients to reach their mental health goals by providing a healthy, comfortable and encouraging atmosphere.
The support network is a group of like minded people who provide emotional and practical help to someone in serious difficulty. The support network is a resource for people with mental illness, family members coping with a family member with mental illness and anyone whom supports the cause. Complete confidentiality is assured.
The intention of the Mental Health Awareness meetings are to address and reduce the stigma of mental health, suggest and implement strategies to cope with the illness, to prevent mental health issues and improve the mental health of attendees by talking, listening and providing healthy activities. Attendees are encouraged to communicate openly about diagnosis, stress, symptoms, triggers and early warning signs if they are comfortable and ready to.
Mike successfully overcame his battle with mental health and as a result discovered many empowering strategies to do this. Mike will share and teach attendees the following in the peer support groups:
- Share how the experience effects our five senses, our emotions and the danger signs of the illness.
- Provide education on how to use our emotions constructively, not destructively when they are highly sensitive and the emergency signs.
- Teach how to be empathetic, passionate, encouraging, motivating, inspiring and increasing in faith, hope and love.

Mental Health Meeting Information
Mental health meetings will be held at the Rocky Mountain House Library at 6:00 to 8:00 pm on the second Tuesday of every month. Meetings will be facilitated by Mike Fillinger.
The Manic Mechanic focuses on the prevention of mental health issues and the unique issues that challenge mental health.
Mike is planning on partnering with local community groups for support resources and mental health activities.
